We want you to love your books. This policy explains returns, refunds, and cancellations at The BooksTank.
1. When You Can Return
- Damaged, defective, or wrong book: you may request a return/replacement within 7 days of delivery. This covers printing defects, torn pages, or items different from what you ordered.
- Physical books are generally non-returnable for change of mind because they are sealed reading material; exceptions are made only for damaged/defective/wrong items.
2. How to Request
- Email info@thebookstank.com or call 9315813781 with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
- Our team confirms eligibility and shares the return steps. Keep the original packaging until the return is complete.
3. Inspection and Resolution
Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we will, at your choice, replace the item or issue a refund to your original payment method.
4. Refund Timeline
- Refunds are initiated within 2–3 business days of approval.
- Depending on your bank or wallet, the amount usually reflects in 5–7 business days.
5. Order Cancellation
- You may cancel an order before it is dispatched from Contact Us or by calling us; the full amount is refunded.
- Once dispatched, the order follows the return process above.
6. Non-Returnable Items
Digital products, opened CDs/DVDs, and personalized/stationery items are not returnable unless defective.
