Shipping and Delivery Policy
We want your books to reach you quickly and in great condition. Here is how shipping works at The BooksTank.
1. Dispatch Time
Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation. Pre-orders and out-of-stock titles are dispatched when available; the product page will state the expected date.
2. Delivery Areas and Timelines
- Within India: standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days; metro cities often receive orders sooner.
- Remote and rural areas may take a little longer depending on the courier network.
3. Shipping Charges
- Free standard shipping on orders above the threshold shown at checkout.
- For smaller orders, a flat shipping fee is calculated at checkout.
4. Tracking
Once dispatched, we email or SMS a tracking number and the courier partner’s name so you can follow your parcel.
5. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
6. Undelivered / Returned Parcels
If a courier cannot deliver after attempts, the parcel may be returned to us. We will contact you to rearrange delivery (additional shipping charges may apply).
7. Damaged in Transit
If a parcel arrives damaged, inform us within 48 hours with photos so we can claim with the courier and arrange a replacement or refund (see our Refund & Return Policy).
